I’m an Assistant Professor in the school of Design and Human Engineering at UNIST. I joined the UNIST faculty in 2015 after finishing a Ph.D. in Human-Centered Computing at Georgia Tech. I have also worked on UX design and research to tackle real-world problems at Palo Alto Research Center, Microsoft Research, LG, and Motorola. My work is at the intersection of hci, social/crowd computing and design, with a special interest in health informatics and accessibility. I have published on this in leading conferences like ACM CHI, ASSETS, CSCW and Pervasive Health.

I am always looking to work with enthusiastic undergraduate and graduate students. I am eager to work with students from a variety of academic backgrounds such as design, computer science, and electrical engineering. I do care about your commitment, creativity, communication skills, and courage to learn something new (the 4C’s). The 4 C’s is coined by Prof. Lana Yarosh at Univ. of Minnesota.

If you are interested in learning about and conducting research on social computing and accessibility, please send me your cv. For undergraduate students at UNIST, I strongly recommend you to apply as an undergraduate intern before applying to our lab to pursue graduate studies.
